All Hands on Deck
Longtime activist? New to gun violence prevention work? All are welcome here. We don't ask for minimum time commitments, just a passion for creating safer communities.
1. Legislation
We advocate for legislation that prevents gun violence at the local, state, and national level.
2. Elections
We work to elect local, state, and national candidates who are committed to ending gun violence.
3. Strategic Partners
We collaborate with and support gun violence survivors and other organizations that share our mission to keep all communities safe from gun violence.
4. Public Education
We work to inform communities about ways to end gun violence, including Emergency Risk Protection Orders, safe firearm storage education, and letters to the editor.
In This Together
Formed in March 2024 by a group of seasoned gun violence prevention activists, Grassroots4GVP harnesses everyday people-power to free all communities from gun violence. We act to increase awareness, center survivors, amplify partners, and elect leaders who will champion gun safety legislation.
