Grassroots4GVP September Statewide Meeting
On September 12, 2024, Grassroots4GVP volunteers gathered, virtually, for the organization's monthly Statewide Meeting.
The September meeting was focused on Suicide Prevention and Election Actions that can help elect candidates who will govern with gun safety as a priority.

Suicide Prevention & Firearms
September's featured speaker was Brian Berkel, President of the Board of Trustees for the Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention.
Mr. Berkel is a former State Trooper who witnessed first hand the effects of suicide on the community and that led him to join the Coalition.
At the Grassroots4GVP Statewide Meeting, he gave a thoughtful presentation on suicide and its connection to firearms.
