On Sunday, May 12, the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute (LDBPI) held its annual Mother's Day Walk for Peace (MDW4P) in Dorchester, MA. Many Grassroots for Gun Violence Prevention (Grassroots4GVP) volunteers attended along with the MA Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence (MACoPGV).

The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute explains:

"The Mother’s Day Walk for Peace is a beloved 27-year-long Boston tradition and celebration of our potential to create more peaceful communities. It is our largest fundraising event to grow and sustain our services, advocacy and training. Our goal is to empower survivors, Generation Peace and communities impacted by murder, trauma, grief and loss to cultivate cycles of peace and healing."

It was a wonderful day in community and unity! Many participants walked with their family and folks committed to ending gun violence. We're all in this together.
