Grassroots4GVP volunteers participated in Arlington Town Day 2024 to spread the word about gun violence prevention.
On September 21, Grassroots4GVP (G4GVP) members volunteered at Arlington Town Day, despite the difficult weather.
They generated lots of interest at their table, signing up over two dozen new members and hearing from the community about how gun violence impacts them.
Volunteers had amazing conversations with parents, teens, gun owners, concerned neighbors, mental health professionals, teachers, and students alike. They shared information about secure storage, legislation, and election actions, and encouraged folks to check out the G4GVP website for more information.
The G4GVP table had a steady flow of interested parties throughout the day, and it was a successful event overall.
Thanks to the volunteers who cheerfully staffed the G4GVP table for over six hours in the pouring rain and chilly temperatures!
